Shawn Hunsberger

Shawn is responsible for strategic growth and business development across all ECM market sectors. He is a team-focused and results-driven leader who focuses on developing team members to create a winning culture of success and he prides himself on his ability to identify needs and implement effective solutions that grow revenue.

Shawn has more than twenty years of executive, operational, and development experience in the energy sector. He began in the performance contracting industry in 2001.

In 2009, he founded Aqua Energy Services and helped grow the firm to 22 employees with annual billings of over seven million dollars. Aqua would eventually be acquired by ECM, becoming our water engineering unit which specializes in engineering and design of turnkey construction services with a focus on water and sewer savings.

Prior to founding Aqua, Shawn was regional operations manager for Schlumberger in the Neptune Water Meter division. He was responsible for programs which installed over 250,000 smart water meters across Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

​His education includes a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in mechanical and industrial engineering from Gannon University.
