Vice President (Co-Founder)
Erik is responsible for helping the organization achieve all strategic and operational objectives. To this end, he has overseen the development and growth of the ECM portfolio into five distinct service categories that are independently directed, but able to leverage sales platforms, auditing resources, project management, and measurement and verification expertise with uniform back-office support.
Additionally, Erik also brought lean manufacturing principles to ECM’s delivery platform and continuously focuses on eliminating unnecessary costs from projects. These strategic uses of company resources have helped ECM expand nationwide.
Erik is a co-founder of ECM, as well as the founder of Building Envelope Solutions which became ECM’s weatherization services unit.
Previously, he worked for a global manufacturer and international market leader in high-speed corrugating, finishing, and sheeting machinery for the box and paper converting industries.
During this time, he served as Field Engineer, New Product Development Engineer, Sales Executive, Sales Leader, and North American Sales Manager. He also played a key role in the resurrection of a product line for the organization, growing it into a multi-million-dollar revenue stream.
Erik has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. He and his wife have three children and are very active members of the community in Oshkosh WI.
