Value Delivered

ECM worked with a local ESCO client to audit twelve buildings at the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center and was then contracted to provide building envelope weatherization. Our solutions are projected to result in annual energy savings of $30,679 with a simple payback of four and a half years.

Client Objectives

The client wanted to achieve an airtight building envelope in an effort to improve thermal retention and cut costs.

Solutions

ECM identified air gaps in roofs, doors, windows, and walls at twelve buildings at the center, including offices, garages, and warehouses.

Our team installed:

  • Weather stripping
  • Door sweeps
  • Air sealing
  • Caulking
  • Foam (one- and two-part foam depending on the type of joint and its visibility)

Only the highest quality materials were used, and the project was warrantied. Mobilization, installation, and cleanup were completed in four weeks.
