FAQs

We offer remote auditing services, though they are limited. Utilizing our ongoing data collection, building drawings, and satellite imaging, we can put together a rough estimate for a preliminary audit or proposal. During the Investment Grade Audit, we then validate the estimate or adjust if needed.

We utilize an extremely detailed measurement and verification process that factors a range of variables into our projections. Blower door testing, infrared imaging, and smoke testing can be used to meet the documentation level you desire.

We have two full installation crews that travel nationwide, as well as a number of smaller crews distributed across the country. When additional labor is needed, we have close relationships with vetted subcontractors. All projects are managed by our Project Managers, and all materials are tested and approved for quality.

Yes. We quantify projected carbon reductions associated with any proposed improvements.

Yes. We set installation hours and crew sizes based on your needs, working after-hours, on weekends, and over the holidays when necessary.

We aim to develop projects that have a return on investment of three to seven years. Factors like building type and age, geographic location and weather, utility costs, and which solutions we decide to implement, will impact payback times.

The worse the leakage, the greater the opportunity for savings. Buildings with open construction, mixed materials, many windows, high-use doors, etc. typically have the most leakage.

Yes. However, not every building will have leakage that can be prevented, and some buildings will have leakage that requires more improvements than a reasonable ROI will justify.

Not entirely. Construction style, quality, and materials have the largest impact, as well as how well the building has been maintained. However, trends in building styles and materials mean that facilities from certain time periods tend to me more likely candidates for envelope improvements.

Our spray foams last for decades. Door materials typically last 15 to20 years, depending on the wear and tear they experience.

Our foams and caulks are low odor during application and odorless after they have been cured. Further, both can be painted over after application.

Attics are meant to have air flow through them to the exterior. We insulate and seal them from the living space below, treating them the same way we would a flat roof area.

No. Our crews can work around occupants while buildings are operational or perform work after hours if needed.

We take the utmost precautions to avoid disruption and cover anything near our work area. We clean up our installations and work area every day. The goal is to have customers barely notice we are in the building.

Yes. We can help you secure incentives at the state and federal levels, as well as any rebates offered by your local utilities provider.
