Auto Sash Controllers
ECM can provide and install innovative auto sash controllers from TEL. Designed for use with fume cupboards, the controllers close sashes automatically when an operator is not present, helping save energy and increase operator safety.
A passive infrared sensor (PIR) constantly monitors the work area in front of the fume cupboard. When the operator is present, the sash can be operated manually via either a touch sensitive feature or foot switch. If no movement is detected and the sash opening is clear, the sash will automatically close after a predetermined time. An auto open option is also available.
