Automatic Sash Control Systems
As TEL’s exclusive North American distributor, ECM provides and installs innovative TEL auto sash controllers. Designed for use with fume hoods, the automatic sash control system closes the sash when no operator is present, helping to save energy and increase operator safety.
A passive infrared sensor (PIR) constantly monitors the work area in front of the fume cupboard. When an operator is present, the sash can be operated manually or via either a touch-sensitive feature or a foot switch. If no movement is detected and the sash opening is clear, the automatic sash control will take over and close after a predetermined time. An auto-open option is also available.
