Condenser Coil Rejuvenation

Power washing coils of HVAC systemDeteriorating and corroded cooling coils can seriously impact the efficiency of your HVAC and refrigeration equipment, often leading to premature obsolescence. ECM’s cooling coil rejuvenation process leverages break-thru technology to clean and protect your cooling coils, helping measurably improve their cooling capacity.

Air-side condensing units transfer heat through coils, headers, and fins. Fin efficiency declines over time as they become dirty, dented, and corroded, so our technicians start by thoroughly cleaning equipment and straightening fins. Next, they field apply our proprietary HVAC Armor coating to help improve heat transfer and restore aluminum coils and copper tubes.

This process can help significantly reduce energy costs and extend equipment lifespans by returning your units to performance levels near their original factory specifications. In fact, third party tests typically demonstrated energy savings of up to 20 percent on rejuvenated equipment.

Features of our HVAC Armor coil coating:

  • State-of-the-art polyurethan-based aluminum material
  • One of the only coatings of its kind that can be applied in the field, in temperatures from 20- to 140-degrees Fahrenheit
  • Formula incudes high levels of an aluminum paste, which binds metal surfaces to help restore coils and prevent corrosion
  • Applied in an ultra-thin spray to promote maximum heat transfer
  • Contains zinc phosphate for rust prevention
